“To Travel is to Live” these words by Hans Christian Andersen truly
represent the pleasure one derives from travelling.

Rising Star Tours & Travels, a Delhi based company, is
seeking to ensure that visually impaired people get to experience this joy as
well. Founder Amit Jain is changing the way that blind
people travel.

A recent adventure to Jim Corbett National Park in
Uttarakhand is a fine example of an inclusive trip organized by the company.

Seventy people with visual impairments went on this epic trip and came back
with lifelong memories to cherish.

The three-day trip was full of super fun activities such as Jungle Safari,
pool party, late night dancing, and lots more. The travellers stayed at a
five-star resort with top class services for their comfort and enjoyment.

Aruni Sharma, a college teacher from Lucknow was among them.
“It was a great experience to be on this trip. Getting to meet new people,
making new friends was the highlight for me. Spending some time in nature
made me feel complete and relaxed. The resort was also grand with all the
facilities for our comfort.”

This is the fourth such trip for visually impaired people organized by Rising
Star Tours & Travels. Jain’s team works the trip out in advance to
ensure safety and fun. Costs are kept minimal as well.

Everything went about smoothly as planned and everyone had a good
experience. For many of the travellers, this was the first ever trip of
their lives and they enjoyed being out of their comfort area. We will soon
be organizing ore of these trips. – Amit Jain, Founder, Rising Star
Tours & Travels

The aim of these trips is to break barriers and to enable the blind people to
come out of their fears of travelling to new places. The travellers get to
try new experiences, adventures, thrills and also make new friends on the
way.

Shubham Gupta, who works with the State Bank of
India
has been on every trip organized by Rising Tours & Travels
and has loved every single one of them. “This was an excellent trip too.
Like always the arrangements were superb, the hotel, volunteers everything
was very well managed. Amit Jain goes through a lot of efforts to make the
trip a success and this time too it was great to be a part of the
adventure”, he said.

So, if you are looking to sign up for the next one, do track their upcoming
trips on their Facebook page.
