GIGW were included as a part of Central Secretariat Manual of office Procedure by DARPG However, since the inception of GIGW, there have been a lot of changes in user demands and technology trends including major revision of HTML and CSS, etc. A Committee has been constituted to study current scenario and advice on the revision of the GIGW so that it may fulfill its mandate of benchmarking Websites and Mobile Apps that are usable, user centric and universally accessible.
