Over the past few days, there has been rising tensions in Jammu and Kashmir
(J&K) after the Indian government received messages about Pakistani army
making attempts to sneak into the country. On Saturday, the Indian army shot
dead five intruders who tried to enter J&K’s Keran
sector
. The army has now asked Pakistani government to take back the
bodies of all five of them. But they have to show a white flag
before Indian army hands them over the bodies. Pakistan has not yet responded
to this.

No wonder the Pakistan Army refused to take dead bodies of their men during
Kargil war. Today dead bodies of Pak SSG men killed by Indian Army remain
untouched at the LoC. Shame on you! At least honour your dead
Martyrs!-Aditya Raj Kaul, Journalist.

According to reports, the intruders have been sent by Pakistani army and they
belongs to Pakistan’s Border action team (BAT). They have
been sent to disrupt peace in the valley. No Indian soldiers or civilians
were injured in the cross border firing.

“Breaking: #Pakistan BAT attempt on night of 31 July/ 01 August in Keran
Sector. Own soldiers foiled the attempt inflicting heavy causalities on the
infiltrating BAT team. 4 bodies of possibly Pak SSG Commandos or terrorists
has been seen on own side of LC”, tweeted Journalist Snehesh Alex
Philip.

But Pakistani army came out by saying that India has been making false
allegations against BAT.

“Indian allegations of cross LOC action by Pakistan and possession of
bodies are mere propaganda. Such blatant lies / staged dramas are Indian
disinformation manoeuvre to divert world attention from increased atrocities
by Indian Occupation Forces inside IOJ&K”, tweeted Pakistani army’s
spokesperson Major General Asif Ghafoor.
