India’s ace sprinter Hima Das is truly unstoppable. This
youngster, who is bringing home laurels at international platforms, has won
her fifth gold in just one month. Her latest one was finishing a
400 meter race in 52.09 seconds at a Prague sports event. Renowned
personalities like Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and
sports legend Sachin Tendulkar took to their social media to
congratulate Das on her remarkable achievement.
India is very proud of @HimaDas8’s phenomenal achievements over the last
few days. Everyone is absolutely delighted that she has brought home five
medals in various tournaments. Congratulations to her and best wishes for
her future endeavours-Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of
India.
Das ensured to reply to Modi’s tweeted in a few hours. “Thank You
@narendramodi sir for your kind wishes. I will continue to work hard and
bring more medals for our country”, she tweeted.
Nicknamed as Dhing Express for her lightning speed and records,
Das is truly an inspiration to work-hard and beat all obstacles to achieve
dreams. She recently won a gold for India at the Poznan
athletics where her record was 23.65 seconds to win the 200 metres
gold in running. She is already a world junior champion and record holder.
