Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra is getting trolled on social
media. This is after Priyanka, who is currently on her birthday vacation in
Miami, Florida, was spotted smoking in certain photos. The photos have gone
viral and many people have reminded the star of an advertisement she did
where she spoke about being diagnosed with asthma at a very young age.
Many people also dug out an old video in which Priyanka campaigned for a
cracker-free Diwali. Some have also criticised the actress for celebrating
her birthday amidst the devastating Assam floods given that Priyanka was
appointed the brand ambassador of Assam Tourism in 2016.
The photo that has got everyone most angry is the one where Priyanka can be
seen on a yacht with her mother and husband Nick Jonas
smoking a cigar.
One person tweeted saying, “Priyanka Chopra trying to cure the Asthma she
developed on Diwali!”. While another said, “Good to know your asthma is
gone”.
Some others mocked her for the cracker free Diwali ad. “Dear Indians please
don’t burst crackers for Diwali since Priyanka Chopra has Asthma”.
Many Twitter users are also of the opinion that people should mind its own
business and that they should “Let Priyanka Chopra be.”” People change with
time. Their perception towards life and choices change as they grow. Someone
didn’t smoke in 2010 doesn’t mean they can’t in 2019. (Not supporting
smoking but just let Priyankachopra be”.
“People should know that there is a big fat difference b/n burning bunch full
of crackers and smoking 1 cigarette which is her discretion, she knows about
her health. Stop shredding someone’s earned reputation to get more reach and
followers”.
So #PriyankaChopra was pictured smoking..Can’t a woman make independent
choices without being trolled ! Maybe she did not smoke before, maybe now
or maybe she was just taking a drag.. leave her alone !! She is an #Indian

crackers at her own wedding. In 2017, she was shamed for wearing a short
